after Roisin's birth and I guess we're settling down into a kind of a pattern. Helen doted completely over Roisin, I think she bitterly regretted having to go home. The visit wasn't without its tensions, she cleaned so much she made David feel like a guest and it was a bitch trying to stop her. And we're going to have to sort out the religion thing before Roisin gets older, but that's another story, and it'll have to wait until for a bit.

We went out for Roisin's second spin in the car today, she wasn't keen at first to my surprise, but soon slept. She was much admired by my workmates. I got a few more books even though I'm not getting much reading done atm, just some when bfing.

So now I've got a cosy thriller by Ann Granger, Naked Prey by /john Sandford and a medical thriller by someone called Gwen Hunter. We'll see what that's like. I'm reading Blackstone's Pursuits by Quintin Jardine at the moment, it's much better than the later Oz Blackstones.

A BIG annoyance, and a worry today, I haven't been paid this month. Bloody useless council. I thought today was pay day but it was last Thursday, I've been a bit confused and too busy to notice. Rang payroll so someone is looking into it and will ring me tomorrow morning. They need to get it sorted because we need the money to pay the start of the month bills.
