Jan. 5th, 2004 01:10 pmJust having a toasted cheese and ham sandwich for lunch. It's tasty, but I'd just finished making it when I decided I wanted onion in it. But because it's hot I'm eating it without, but I think I will need another with onion now that the notion has entered my head. Ah, cravings. In fact, what I really want is a cheese, tomato, ham and onion sandwich fried in butter, but that's just too rich and extravagant for words! Having no tomatoes in the house makes it a current impossibility, too.
There's been maybe two occasions that I've bought tomatoes since I used the last of my homegrown ones, I don't know if I ate so many during the summer I filled my entire year's tomato need or what!
Woke up this morning feeling crap. Just generally blah - morose and flat. Was mildly amused when I told D I felt like a deflated balloon and he looked pointedly at my stomach, but had the sense to say nothing :) I am feeling a bit perkier now, but I'm in cannot-be-bothered mode. Had a bad night's sleep with a stabbing, burning ache down the centre of my chest most of the nigh, and Mistletoe was very lively. Hiccups, kicks, bladder dancing and cervix bouncing, I got them all. Mostly just out of sorts because I felt really nauseated again, I think.
It would probably be a Very Good Idea if I went and got my mop of unruly hair cut and tidied before Mistletoe arrives, but right now I can't be bothered (I think that's today's theme!) The ends badly need trimming, and really I could take it back up to my shoulders to make it less trouble. Leave enough to tie it back out of the way, but reduce the length and weight. Hmmm, might see if I can sort that after my midwife appointment tomorrow.
