Got Sims 2 Pets. Won't run. Installs fine, won't play. At all. Guess who didn't bother backing up her old Sims? (I had no problem with University or Nightlife so blithely went ahead, fool that I am!) Ah well.
It seems to be the inbuilt 'technology to prevent copying' that renders the game unusable in my DVD drive. I hate that kind of thing.
ETA: It works now :) D updated the firmware on the DVD-RW drive as a last resort after doing all the other things suggested on EA Games support and it works. I have only made one dog so far, Olly. Roisin loves him.
