Gay rights
"Why is it that, as a culture, we are more comfortable seeing two men holding guns than holding hands?"
-- Ernest Gaines
We would like to know who really believes in gay rights on livejournal. There is no bribe of a miracle or anything like that. If you truly believe in gay rights, then repost this and title the post as "Gay Rights". If you don't believe in gay rights, then just ignore this. Thanks
As
allyphoe said and
sidheag quoted, I believe in human rights rather than gay rights per se.

Date: 2006-10-03 10:52 am (UTC)I don't feel like putting that in my journal. My journal isn't for that. It's for what I happen to feel like posting - and I just, for whatever reason, don't feel like posting that today. Yet now I feel like failing to post it makes me look like a homophobe. Which isn't true. So I'm just venting now. Which is dumb because I could have just posted it but - I didn't like the feeling of coercion. Nothing personal. I'm just saying...it isn't happening and that's it.
Hmm.
I guess my crabby phase isn't over yet.
