Lovely shades of lilac

Bollocks. The flat screen monitor on my computer has been a bit temperamental for a while now but a good thwack on the top usually sorts it. This morning, however, it's flickering a fetching shade of lilac with delightful stripy lines intermittently. Pretty, but hell on the eyes. I can't lean forward to give it a thump either without squashing or disturbing the nursing babe.

Ah, it's sorted itself again. Hurray. Maybe I should swap it for the bigger, newer monitor on t'other PC that isn't being used so much at the moment. Oh, now I have a change, a pretty lavender screen. The colour is prettier than the green tones we got at work when one of the monitors died there :-) It also makes my user icon look like a funky negative image of me!
